Caffè Marziali Caffè Rome Latium Italy
Our company was born in February 1922 on 56 Salaria Street, Rome, in front of the Fenice Theatre - which has now become "Rouge et Noir" cinema - where there is still today a bus stop. At that time coffee was the typical drink for the "elite": in fact, after performances and above all after rehearsals, Edoardo and Peppino De Filippo, Renato Rascel, Maggio Brothers and all those people working in the theatre were used to go and sit in the hall of the roasting's "Bar" and drink the well-know "tazzulella 'e cafè" (i.e., a cup of coffee).
The glorious days of the beginning were replace by the difficulties arisen from the World Ware II.. In spite of management difficulties, Leone Marziali was still able to maintain an efficient supply of coffee to his customers: prestigious hotels, restaurants and coffee lounges in Rome.. Salaria Street, Basento Street, Giuliana Street and San Gennaro Street (Fidene): these places have been the seats of our roasting and have allowed its increasing development. They play an important 75 - your - old role in the history of Rome. A goal which rewards the work handed down by our family from generation to generation: coffee roasters from over 75 years. This tradition has become stronger through a precise and punctual service by coffee lounges, restaurants and hotels. This is the market wherein we supply our coffee blends and where we express the maximum of our availability and professionality. Relationship with our selected customers are based on mutual respectability, giving them perfect and constant technical advice and support. On this basis we provide liberal and fruitful commercial relationships. We are proud to be coffee roasters, to live and speak of coffee with people and to be able to contribute to the continuation of one of the most valuable traditions of our country: "…… drink a cup of coffee possibly in the company of a friend or the loved one". .
We produce high quality coffee blends respecting the very rare tradition of wood-fired owen: taste our coffee with pleasure! Like every good company, we are very jealous of our way of blending coffee. We buy the raw product directly from Central and South America, Africa and Asia: coffee is imported every six months and preserved with care. We roast raw coffee, put it in silos and wait for the ripening: we make and prepare blends and we proceed to the distribution on the market. We have always given importance to the "quality" looking after in the minimum particulars relationships with our customers. In fact we consider the quality of the product absolutely more important than overproduction and large markets.
In compliance with normative laws in force, our company, besides adopting Self-Control Procedures provided for by D.L. 155/97 (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points System) obtained, on the 28 of April 1999, the "quality system" certification, in conformity with UNI EN ISO 9002/1994 rules, from the credited body-corporate "CisqCert" of Milano, member of IQNET.
