The line RivaViva was inaugurated by Cristina Riva in 1990 adding to the experience and to the family craftsmen tradition a new concept in ecologic furniture inspired to full protection of the environment and of human health. Riva Viva starts and focuses on the bedroom area, each of us spending in fact one third of the life sleeping. During sleep immunity defences are lower exposing the human body to toxic agents dangerous for health. The bedroom with RivaViva does smell only of the wood’s natural essences to allow for each one to rest and regenerate breathing in a healthy environment.
The peculiarity of Riva Viva products furthermore rests on the total control of the making process: planning and design, selection and procurement of the woods, making and finishing. Each detail is charged to experienced hands making good use of an experience going back to the Twenties.

The surroundings we live in determine the quality of our lives. Rivaviva is the line of natural and ecological furnishing, that allows to plan a house in total balance between ecology and style, through products thought, created and assembled with care as to guarantee a well being to live in every surrounding of our house.

RivaViva’s company phylosophy reflects in all the phases of the production :
PLANNING
• Simple and linear design whose purpose is to create furniture that is assembled where possible without metal parts and glues.
MATERIALS
• Use of european wood-preferably solid pinewood non treated- coming from cultivations inspected as to guarantee the ecosystem balance.
• Use, for the finishings, of natural varnish made from non toxic vegetal resins like beeswax and linen seed oil.
• Use of non treated natural cotton and natural latex for stuffings
• Use of natural materials
