M.P.S. was set up in 1984, but only in 1995 the Company was taken over by the current ownership. The industrial activity of the Company is to transform silver in silver semimanufactured and in chemical compounds. The factory is situated in Monterotondo Scalo, in a well-equipped area close to Rome, on the historical "Via Salaria", having 2500 square metres of covered surface.
M.P.S. uses advanced equipment and a very competent staff because it has more than twenty years of experience in the precious metals field. The whole processing production occurs inside of the factory, because the technologic level achieved by the Company does not allow to use an exterior aid; infact there are not others able to give a qualitative contribution and to satisfy the requirements imposed by a strict quality control. After the transfer of the shares to the current owners, in 1995, M.P.S. has decided to invest in the research to develop new products and complete the semimanufactured range.
In 1997 the Company decided to interrupt the production of thin silver rolled strip destined to some important societies of rolling of precious metals and to turn directly to the users of this product, obtaining an immediate success which has flattered the Society and has supported further investments.
